Golf

Designed in 1922 by renowned golf course architect Donald Ross, the Springfield Country Club 18-hole championship course offers a unique, challenging, and rewarding golf experience.

It is a beautiful place to learn the game of golf, challenge the best golfers, or simply have a leisurely game with friends and family.

As one of the more challenging courses in Southern Ohio, the course has served as host to the 1933, 57', 76', 98', 2007, & 2017 Ohio Amateur Championships. We were also proud to host the 2006 Senior Amateur, and served as the 2008, 2010-present U.S. Open Sectional Qualifier sites, and the 2008 U.S. Senior Challenge.

The course has a total yardage of 6,684 with a par 72. The course has an average stroke rating of 72.6 with a slope of 137 for men and 69.7 with a slope of 124 for women.

It should be the goal of all players to complete an 18 hole round in four hours or less. It is the responsibility of each player in the group to keep pace with the group ahead. Stopping for lunch or for a period more than 5 minutes will cause players to lose their turn on the 10th tee. When a group has not lost a clear hole, but it is apparent that the group behind can play faster, it should invite the faster moving group to play through.
For your convenience, a bag drop is located near the golf shop and 1st tee. Feel free to leave your clubs with a uniformed outside staff attendant prior to parking.
